Private Hire

In 2009 St Aidan’s Academy moved into state of the art premises providing an outstanding asset of which staff and pupils are proud.

Bright and flexible learning spaces offer exceptional opportunities for innovative and engaging teaching and learning, while our sports facilities provide the academy community with excellent environments in which to develop skills, try new activities and enjoy participating.

The premises also lend themselves to being used for a wider range of purposes including community use and other educational and social activities. We are keen to share our facilities with the wider community, to enhance their access to high quality environments, whether for sport, performing arts, teaching or learning and to build our links with community groups and organisations.

Our facilities are available to hire outside school hours, in the evening, at weekends and in school holidays. The income the academy receives from letting its facilities is reinvested in the academy to enhance our facilities still further for the benefit of staff, pupils and the community.

We allow lettings for community and commercial use. The facilities available to hire are:

Sports Hall

This is our multi-use sporting space which is ideal for indoor sports and events.  The hall can be configured for the enjoyment of:  Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Netball and Tennis.

The space can be configured with a large stage area and seating as well as the use of state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment ideal for large meetings or presentations or performances.

Main Hall

This is our smaller multi-use space which is ideal for sports and events including:  Yoga, Pilates and Table Tennis.

This can also be configured to be used for meetings and presentations or is also ideal for rehearsal space for performing arts.

Classrooms

We are also able to hire out classroom spaces including our drama, music and art spaces which includes the use of a kiln (by separate arrangement).

Outdoor

We are able to offer the use of our playing fields to local sports clubs throughout the year which are configured for a number of activities including: Athletics, Football & Rugby.
