Any student not making the correct choices, consistently, would be placed into our inclusion unit. This would be communicated with parents. Students follow bespoke learning packages based on the areas in which they have made the wrong choices. Students must then complete the work they have missed at home with their parents and bring it back into school the following day.
Students are always given the chance to reflect and try again; however, should more specific intervention be required students can access our School Within a School programme.
This provision has both entry and exit strategies and requires full communication and support of parents and carers. Teaching staff work with each student and work is bespoke. Staff, students and parents are aware of strategies for successful re-integration. Students have been incredibly successful following their return to mainstream academy life.
